Wataku Founder’s Pack Terms

1. Introduction

These Founder’s Pack Terms (“Founder Terms”) govern the purchase and use of the Wataku Founder’s Pack.

If there is a conflict between these Founder Terms and the Wataku Terms of Service regarding the Founder’s Pack, these Founder Terms apply only to matters relating to the Founder’s Pack.

2. Purpose of the Founder’s Pack

The Founder’s Pack is intended to recognize and thank players who choose to support the early development of Wataku.

Purchasing the Founder’s Pack helps support the continued development, operation, and improvement of the Wataku platform.

The Founder’s Pack is entirely optional.

The full Wataku gameplay experience is designed to remain accessible without purchasing the Founder’s Pack.

3. What You Receive

Subject to successful payment and continued compliance with the Wataku Terms of Service, purchasers may receive the benefits described on the official Founder page at the time of purchase.

These may include:

  • Permanent Founder status associated with your Wataku account.
  • Founder badge or profile title.
  • Founder profile frame.
  • Founder cosmetic rewards made available by Wataku.
  • Recognition as an early supporter.
  • Early access to selected features where specifically announced.

Only benefits explicitly described on the official Founder page at the time of purchase are included.

4. Benefits May Evolve

Wataku is an actively developed platform.

From time to time, Wataku may:

  • add new Founder benefits;
  • improve existing Founder rewards;
  • replace cosmetic items with equivalent alternatives;

Wataku is not obligated to introduce specific future benefits unless they have been expressly promised.

5. No Gameplay Advantage

Purchasing the Founder’s Pack does not:

  • improve gameplay strength;
  • unlock stronger pieces;
  • modify game rules;
  • increase ratings;
  • influence matchmaking;
  • provide tournament advantages;
  • alter AI difficulty;
  • change move validation;
  • affect game outcomes.

Wataku is committed to maintaining fair competitive play.

6. Digital Nature of the Product

The Founder’s Pack is a digital product.

No physical goods are shipped.

The benefits associated with the Founder’s Pack are delivered electronically through your Wataku account.

7. One-Time Purchase

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Founder’s Pack is a one-time purchase.

It is not a subscription.

No recurring charges will be made solely because you purchased the Founder’s Pack.

Future optional products or subscriptions, if introduced, will be governed by their own terms.

8. Account Association

Founder status is linked to the Wataku account used to complete the purchase.

It cannot normally be transferred to another account.

If exceptional circumstances arise, Wataku may review transfer requests at its sole discretion.

9. Ownership

Purchasing the Founder’s Pack does not provide:

  • ownership of Wataku;
  • shares;
  • equity;
  • voting rights;
  • partnership status;
  • employment;
  • investment rights;
  • profit sharing;
  • intellectual property ownership.

The Founder’s Pack is a digital product that provides the benefits described in these Terms.

10. Availability

The Founder’s Pack may be offered for a limited period.

Wataku may:

  • discontinue sales;
  • close Founder enrollment;
  • introduce successor supporter programs.

Purchasing the Founder’s Pack before sales end does not guarantee that it will remain available for future purchase.

11. Future Development

Wataku intends to continue improving the platform.

Planned areas of development may include:

  • Academy expansion;
  • replay enhancements;
  • competitive features;
  • tournaments;
  • community tools;
  • visual improvements.

These plans represent development goals rather than guaranteed deliverables.

Purchasing the Founder’s Pack does not guarantee the release of any specific feature.

12. Payments

Payments are securely processed through approved payment providers, including Stripe.

Wataku does not store your complete payment card information.

Successful purchases are confirmed through Wataku’s internal entitlement system after payment verification.

13. Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to the Wataku Refund Policy.

Purchasing the Founder’s Pack does not automatically guarantee eligibility for a refund.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Suspension or Termination

Founder status is subject to continued compliance with the Wataku Terms of Service.

If an account is suspended or terminated because of serious violations, Wataku may suspend access to Founder benefits associated with that account where appropriate.

Such action does not automatically change the historical record of a completed purchase.

15. Technical Issues

If your payment succeeds but Founder status is not reflected in your account, please contact Wataku Support.

Wataku will investigate verified purchase records and, where appropriate, restore the associated Founder entitlement.

16. Changes to the Founder’s Pack

Wataku may update or improve the Founder’s Pack over time.

Changes intended to improve the overall Founder experience do not invalidate previous purchases.

Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notifying users through the Services.

17. Limitation of the Offer

The Founder’s Pack is offered solely as a digital supporter package.

It should not be purchased with the expectation of:

  • financial return;
  • appreciation in value;
  • resale;
  • investment opportunity;
  • speculative gain.
